Preview: WWE Raw – April 28, 2025 | Kansas City, Missouri
The April 28 episode of WWE Raw will broadcast live from Kansas City, Missouri, and promises an action-packed night. Although Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has announced a number of major developments for the show, he will not be present due to “doctor’s orders.” In his absence, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis will step in and oversee the evening’s proceedings.
Last week’s Raw — airing immediately after WrestleMania 41 — delivered unforgettable matches and shocking storylines. Coming off the monumental two-night event where championships changed hands, Joe Hendry made his electrifying Mania debut, and Becky Lynch made a stunning return. WWE kept the momentum rolling with Randy Orton delivering an RKO to John Cena to kick off the show, Rusev’s explosive comeback, Jey Uso celebrating his World Heavyweight Championship win, and Bron Breakker spearing both CM Punk and Roman Reigns, officially aligning himself with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman.
Ahead of the show, Adam Pearce released a video confirming that Rollins, Heyman, and Breakker will now operate under the new faction name: “The Trifecta of Terror” — a powerhouse alliance poised to dominate Raw, much like Heyman’s legendary Bloodline stable.
The WWE Universe can also expect to hear from Becky Lynch for the first time since her shocking attack on Lyra Valkyria. After capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Lyra at WrestleMania, the duo lost the belts just 24 hours later. In a stunning turn of events, Becky viciously attacked Lyra, leaving fans stunned. Tonight, Becky breaks her silence — and it’s bound to be must-watch TV.
In the ring, Rhea Ripley — still reeling from her WrestleMania loss to IYO SKY — will face off against rising star Roxanne Perez. With both competitors hungry to prove themselves, this battle promises to be intense.
Meanwhile, Pat McAfee is set to address GUNTHER’s shocking actions from last week. Known for speaking his mind without filter, Pat’s response is expected to be nothing short of explosive.
Adding even more buzz to the night, Logan Paul will appear live with a special message following his victory over AJ Styles at WrestleMania. Logan’s appearances are always unpredictable, and tonight promises to be no different as Raw continues its live broadcast on Netflix.
